But depending on the scope of the production, the size of the team, the editor might also be doing compositing, color grading, video effects, and so on. Kdenlive is first and foremost a video editor, not a :abbr:`SFX(Special Effects)` or :abbr:`VFX(Visual Effects)` tool. Nevertheless, it comes with a comprehensive set of :doc:`effects and filters `, :doc:`compositions and transitions `, and :doc:`masking tools `. For adding texts, titles, graphics and animation, while more a task of the FX department, Kdenlive has its built-in :doc:`Title App`, and integrates with |glaxnimate| for :doc:`/titles_and_graphics/graphics_and_animations/animations` For more complex graphics, 3D animations or the like, you need to use specialized applications like |blender|, |inkscape|, |krita|, or |gimp|, and bring their output into Kdenlive just like any other multimedia asset. .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 1 titles/titles graphics_and_animations/animations
