Configuration Information

Kdenlive’s application-wide persistent settings are stored in the following locations, depending on your platform.

kdenliverc	: ~/.config/ : %LocalAppData%\	General settings of the application. Delete this and restart Kdenlive to reset the application to “factory” settings
kdenlive-appimagerc	: ~/.config/	Linux AppImage only: contains the general settings of the application
kdenlive_*	: ~/.config/session/	temporary session info
: ~/.cache/kdenlive/ : %LocalAppData%\kdenlive\		Audio and video thumbnails, proxy clips, user defined titles, LUTS, lumas, shortcuts
: ~/.local/share/kdenlive/ : %AppData%\kdenlive\		Contains downloaded effects, export, library, opencv models, profiles, speech models, and titles
: ~/.local/share/kdenlive/ lumas/ : %LocalAppData%\kdenlive\ lumas\		Contains the files used for wipes
: ~/.local/share/kdenlive/ .backup/ : %AppData%\kdenlive\ .backup\		Auto Save Recovery files
: ~/.config/share/kdenlive/ layouts/ : %LocalAppData%\kdenlive\ layouts\		Contains the different layout files saved by the user
kdenliveui.rc	: ~/.local/share/kxmlgui5/ kdenlive/ : %LocalAppData%\kxmlgui5\ kdenlive\	Contains UI configuration. If your UI is broken, delete this file.
knewstuff3	: ~/.local/share/ : %LocalAppData%\	Contains LUT definition
: ~/.local/share/kdenlive/ speechmodels/ : %AppData%\kdenlive\ speechmodels\		Contains the downloaded VOSK models
: ~/.local/share/kdenlive/ opencvmodels/ : %AppData%\kdenlive\ pencvmodels\		Contains the downloaded OpenCV models
: ~/.local/share/kdenlive/ venv/ : %LocalAppData%\kdenlive\ venv\		Contains the Python virtual environment (venv)
: $HOME/.cache/huggingface		Contains the SeamlessM4T models for Whisper

To reach the above folders: Windows+R then copy above path into the window.
